Bug Description

Binary package hint: desktop-file-utils

I was looking at the properties of the desktop-file-utils package and noticed that the packages:

gnome-control-center
openoffice.org-common

are listed TWICE as dependent packages. Once should be enough, dont you think? ;)

I have no idea what is causing the error so I can't add any insight.

I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy.

Thank you for your bug report. not sure where you got your package but desktop-file-utils on gutsy doesn't depends on any of the packages you list, that not an ubuntu bug

Changed in desktop-file-utils:

No they are not dependencies but "dependent packages". They are not packages that desktop-file-utils is dependent upon, but are packages that depend on desktop-file-utils.

that's not a desktop-file-utils bug then and looks like a duplicate of bug #174301
