Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-libavg
LibAvg can't be imported, so it can't be used at all.
$ sudo aptitude install python-libavg
$ python -c "import libavg"
... ImportError: No module named libavg
$ PYTHONPATH=
... ImportError: No module named libavg
$ PYTHONPATH=
... ImportError: No module named libavg
I also tried following "Getting Started" from Libavg Wiki to the letter, and the troubleshooting instructions for importerror. https:/

Try importing avg instead of libavg:
$ python python2. 5/site- packages/ libavg/ avg.so' >
