Can't dont anything with desktop

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I'm unable to copy file on my Desktop! I tried to access file via the hard disk but i can't. As soon as i click on something on the desktop, then the desktop is block. When it's block some icons disappears! However i can access the two bars.

Is this reproducible with a new account?, could you describe the steps to reproduce this issue?, does it happens every time?
