Konqueror Multiple Empty Tabs From External Link

Bug Description

I have 4 tabs open up in Konqueror when I first launch it. each tab loads its own webpage just fine. if I am on another desktop, workspace, viewport and launch an external link, Konqueror opens up with 3 blank tabs and the last is the externally linked page which shows up fine.

if you open Konqueror with an X amount of tabs, launching Konqueror directly you won't see a problem. If Konqueror launches open *because* of clicking on an external link (e.g., IRC), Konqueror opens up with an X amount of tabs and the last tab in focus would be the external link.

Konqueror 3.5.8. I am opening the webbrowsing profile and it always opens up with 4 tabs. I set it up this way and enjoy it. the thing is, if I don't launch Konqueror directly and launch it through an external link and if it isn't already on the current desktop, it opens with x amount of blank tabs and the last one I believe is replaced by the external link.

I can't seem to reproduce this with Konqueror in KDE 4.1.1. If you can, please reopen this.

I didn't see an option to reopen so I chose incomplete. Konqueror 3.5.9 still exhibits this behavior. If you have any profile that opens more than 1 tab e.g., (n), you will see n empty tabs alongside any link that actually opens up a new instance of that profile.

It is, however, fixed in Konqueror 4.1.1.
