init script name breaks Webmin control

Bug Description

Binary package hint: bacula-director-common

If trying to use Webmin to manage the start/stop of the bacula service, the following error is reported in Webmin when attempting to start bacula:

Failed to start Bacula : No init script found for bacula-dir

There is no /etc/init.d/bacula-dir. At some point the Debian or Ubuntu packages appear to have changed the init script name to bacula-director.

The workaround is to create a symlink:

sudo ln -s /etc/init.d/bacula-director /etc/init.d/bacula-dir

Now the bacula service will start in Webmin.

marking this bug as invalid as it's a bug in webmin not supporting the init-script name present in the ubuntu package. (and you don't want to run a web application to manage services that isn't familiar with the operating system it tries to manage, do you?)

Changed in bacula (Ubuntu):
