Bug Description

Shutdown/reboot window hangs up. It's a fresh Ubuntu 7.10 install. On 7.04 everything was ok. I don't know what's this. With shutdown applet everything goes the same. System freezes and only alt+ctrl+backspace (X restart) helps. Of course "sudo reboot" in console works perfect, but gnome-session-save --kill freezes too.

Make a symlink:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libwnck-1.so.22 /usr/lib/libwnck-1.so.18

and make sure, that in System > Preferences > Sessions a power manager is checked.

Found in other bug post. Launchpad rox - quite every problem can be solved here :D

Hi there
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the development version of Ubuntu, Hardy Heron?

Thanks in advance.
