"Subscribe someone else" should require user to approve the subscription, or at least on option on the profile to allow others to subscribe him/her.
Or it should be implemented a web of trust.

We are not going to require approval for this, since it's easy for the user to unsubscribe himself.

Bug notifications states the reason you are receiving the notification, so you can easily see why you are receiving the notifications and to remove yourself if you don't want him.

We'll display who made the subscription to make it easier to report abuse.

It's not worth it to add workflow to make this process more complex than it is since the normal usage is well served by the ligther process and the cost of reverting abuse is very low.

Thanks for the reply.
Indeed improving the way to report abuse is the way to go, unless there are more reports of many users abusing the system.

Is there any feedback on this happening?
