soundcard makes noize on ubuntu

Bug Description

Intel High Definition Audio 7.1 makes noisy sound when turned loud, so the quality of my music is really bad.
The volume is too quiet, I've turned it very loud, but can't get more volume out of it..

Computer:
HP Pavilion t3260.nl - EJ201AA

Operating system:
Ubuntu 7.10
