This is probably due to missing free space on your partition:
 Selecting previously deselected package python-pexpect.
 Unpacking python-pexpect (from .../python-pexpect_2.1-1_all.deb) ...
 dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/python-pexpect_2.1-1_all.deb (--unpack):
failed in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/share/doc/python-pexpect/copyright': No space left on device
dpkg-deb: failed to create directory: No space left on device

Changed in gpsd:
status: New → Invalid
