Bug Description

Binary package hint: amsn

The amsn debian/rules moves the files in /usr/share/amsn/utils/linux/capture/libng/plugins to /usr/lib/amsn/utils/linux/capture/libng/plugins and then creates symlinks for some (but not all of them). One of the files not symlinked is conv-mjpeg.so which seems to be required for libng to support the mjpeg format on webcams.

Simply creating another symlink for this file restores proper functionality for my webcam (which only has useful video modes in mjpeg format--libng was falling back to YUY2 and amsn was unable to properly handle the resolutions available).

This was fixed at some point, and is no longer an issue in Hardy.
