Bug Description

Binary package hint: wine

Version: wine-0.9.46 / amd64 / kubuntu 7.10

From the console:
fixme:wininet:INET_QueryOptionHelper INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECTED_STATE: semi-stub
fixme:wininet:NETCON_init can't use SSL, not compiled in.
fixme:wininet:INET_QueryOptionHelper Stub! 24

This occurs when trying to use SSL from iTunes 7.3.0.54 when trying to authenticate with the iTunes music store.

My understanding from the following posts is that this is a result of a compile switch being omitted in the wine build process:
http://bugs.winehq.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8212
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=238774

Please add the SSL support to future versions of wine.

thx,

-G

HI,

you are right...there is a missing builddeb for x86_64 with ssl support...it needs an additional build-dep which I will add later on...
