Bug Description
Just installed Gutsy on a new Mac Pro, and I've got no sound. I can't hear anything out of the main speakers, or the headphone jack. No sound from flash videos, or music, or even at the startup screen.
I've tried a few of the suggestions I found in the forums (such as playing with the mute/unmute functions of alsamixer) but nothing has worked.
Do I need to recompile my alsa drivers? Or did Ubuntu just fail to properly detect my hardware?
