Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I create odt file in OpenOffice writer in Ubuntu 7.10. It was a Slovak text with Slovak characters. I export it into PDF but all Slovak characters are bad in exported PDF file. Instead of regular slovack characters, there are charcters from Latin1.

Can confirm that with serbian latin characters (đščć).

They are all correct in the odt, but are exported incorrectly and show up as completely different characters.

Cyrillic characters on the other hand seem to work without a problem....

This might be a duplicate of #158776 and seems to be solved in OpenOffice 2.3.1:
