Thanks for your bug report. Please try to obtain a backtrace http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and attach the file to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem. It seems to be related to bug 119954 but it's supposed to be fixed, with a good stacktrace we can determine if it's. thanks.

Firefox crashed for me in the same function.
I see a few other bugs that have as well so I'm not sure if I should submit a new bug or if it's a dupe so I've attached the backtrace.
I was changing the fonts in Appearance Preferences, which seemed to instigate the crash.
I won't submit the bug report via the Apport util yet but have backed up the /var/crash report from it just in case it is a new bug.
