Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

Firefox should be aware of which bookmarks I already have and deny me to add a bookmark again if I already have it in my bookmarks.

Thank you for your report. Two comments.

1) I think this request might be more quickly dealt with in the upstream bug tracker of firefox itself
2) not deny, but warn rather. I can think of people wanting to save the same URL in different folders.

procedure for new features in firefox is:

 1. lobby on forums.mozillazine.org;
 2. if people cheer there open an enhancement bug in
 bugzilla.mozilla.org; remember to choose the component wisely when
 filing bugs in bugzilla; otherwise your bug might just go unseen.

however, we cannot really proxy such kind of feature requests for you;
thus closing ubuntu task.
