Bug Description
In order to synchronize the home directories of a new laptop with the old one(s), I connected them by wire and mounted the (old) homedirs via sshfs.
Copying of small directories work out, but the .kde directory does not get copied. The mountpoint disappears while Konqueror is enumerating the files in the directory.
First I blamed the UTP cables or the switch. After swapping those out, I used SFTP/fish. It turns out that via sshfs I could only list about 5000 files out of 10000+ that where actually there.
I described my problem in the forums:

Other bugs that have a similar ring to it are:
147034 exaile crashes when rescanning library location mounted using 'sshfs'
137514 sshfs locks up randomly
100116 sshfs mounted drives do not show correct size and availability in df

I had same bug.
It is fixed in sshfs 1.9 .
When I was testing with sshfs 1.9, copying dir with 15.000 files in subdirs, and find . it, it was fine for hours.
As soon as I switched back to stock sshfs 1.7, after 3 minutes the copy failed, and I got:
rafal@desktop: ~/mnt/ice$ ls
ls: .: Transport endpoint is not connected
rafal@desktop: ~/mnt/ice$ dmesg | tail
