Binary package hint: evolution

The plugin "New Mail Notification" does only notify when the e-mail finally arrives in the "Inbox". I have set up several filters to move e-mails with a specific sender and subject to different subfolders. They are being moved properly but the problem is that the notification isn't working anymore? Is it a bug or am I using the filters wrongly? I couldn't find any information about that topic on the internet.

Thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better.

The new-mail-notification will notify on new mail on Inbox only, so you are not doing anything wrong -- this is how it works. The mail-notification plugin, as of Evolution 2.21.4, does have an option to notify on *any* new mail, or only new mail in Inbox.

I am closing this bug as notabug, but please re-open if you disagree with my actions.
