asterisk (1:1.4.16.2~dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release. (Closes: #457063) (Fixes CVE-2007-6430)
    - Remove keep-1.4-abi, merged upstream.
    - Adapt hack-multiple-app-voicemail, use-libpri-bristuffed, tos-libcap.
    - Adapt bristuff patches app-dial-etc, chan-iax2-hangup-cause,
      app-dial-priority-202, zapata-bri+euroisdn.
  * Silence upstream's build sum warning but generate one on all modules so
    that we can enable it at a later point.
  * Make the init script's detection of a running daemon to be more precise.
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.7.3, no changes needed.
  * Remove modem.conf on upgrades from 1.2 (i.e. etch). (Closes: #454332)
  * Ressurect long-forgotten logrotate script.

Could you please include the results of your investigation to confirm that the changes above do not adversely affect any of asterisk-addons, asterisk-chan-capi, or asterisk-app-fax? It's non-ideal to update libraries post-DIF without investigating reverse build-dependencies (although the CVE fix would be very nice to have, and makes this a significant update).

I'll investigate that dependencies.. but I think it won't be a problem, because this new version is mostly bug fixing, and for example asterisk-addons version from upstream and debian wasn't changed.

Hi Marco. Any progress on that? I was about to request a sync for 1.4.17~dfsg-2 when I noticed this sync request. Could you please update this sync request for the last Debian revision (which close another security issue)?
