Bug Description

Binary package hint: adept-installer

I think a needed feature would be for users that need a package installed that do not have sudo permissions to choose the applications to install and then have it send a gui request form to an admin for approval. It could look exactly like the update. This would be really good for flash support for instance with a large user group.

Some users might want to download flash for firefox and they click install and it gives them a notice saying your request has been sent to the administrator you will be notified when action has been taken. Then have a pop-up for the admin saying Tom wants to install flashplugin-nonfree how do you want to proceed?

You could also add the add/remove programs group and the user could request games or other apps that they find in there and the admin can approve or disapprove of them just as if they were new updates.

I can confirm that this feature is not present.
This needs to be forwarded upstream to bugs.kde.org as a wishlist report.

Probably won't be fixed though, since Adept is launched with kdesudo.
