Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-savage

I'm running Gutsy on a Toshiba portege 3440CT laptop and noticed that 3d acceleration was much slower than on Feisty. A quick peek at the Xorg log points the finger at the problem:

(EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib/dri/savage_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/dri/savage_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
(EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering

I've run a "find / -name savage_dri.so" as root and come up empty. Additionally I reinstalled xserver-xorg-video-savage with no joy.

you need to install libgl1-mesa-dri.
