Binary package hint: gnome-panel

When I going to start aMSN 0.97RC1 in Ubuntu 7.10 aMSN cant start.
I can see the window "starting amsn" but after that it crashes.
I dont get any error message, it just crashes.

The aMSN final uses tcl/tk 8.5 and can'tbe backported to gutsy, I think you should do a SRU for it in Gutsy.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Intrepid Ibex. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can learn about Stable Release Updates at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates . This case would not qualify for such an update, as it is not a high-impact bug.
