mythbunutu install crashes on f/end only install

Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

mythbuntu 7.1. clean install

installing onto clean disk. advanced version selected for f/end only install. mythsql info from live environment. crashes during mythtv install. (approx 83% through install)

As per reading this, it would appear that your connection to the backend has
failed. Did you "test" it during installation?

Hi Mario,

When the "use live information" (not the exact wording) is selected, the
test connection button is greyed out so I couldn't, so I continued on
with the installation.
Subsequent installation (after the bug post) worked if the live option
was not selected and all backend connection information was provided and
correct.
If it wasn't correct (and not checked by me), the installer didn't check
and charged on regardless and crashed later on.

The installer needs to verify the backend connection automatically in
the step immediately after you provide the information and not let you
proceed until it works, otherwise the installer crashes later without a
real indication why (unless you can understand the logs)

Ah I understand better now. I've added a fix to this for the Hardy version.
