Bug Description
Binary package hint: thunderbird
I use Thunderbird under Windows 2000 and Ubuntu 7.10 with shared data. My incoming mail is divided into a directory structure by filters.
Thunderbird does not update the "unread" information in the below laying directories after starting it in the other OS. Therefore I am not able to see if new mail arrived and I have to open every directory, to refresh.
It would be better, if Thunderbird at startup makes a directory scan immediately.
For the rest I love your application. Great work.
Regards,
Henk

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
