[Hardy Alpha 2] open office disappeared

Bug Description

I just upgraded from GG to HH alpha 2 and noticed that Open Office word prosessor was the only application available. I could not install them with add/remove and they were missing in synaptic

I'm unable to confirm this. It probably has to do with an error in the upgrade process. What terms did you search for in Synaptic? What exactly happens when you try to install using Add/Remove?

When I tried to use add / remove it said there were errors and I would have to ue synaptic. When synaptic was used a lot of OO apps were listed but I again was unable to install them.

this was a typical synaptic error message

openoffice.org:
  Depends: openoffice.org-core (=1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5) but 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 is to be installed
 Depends: openoffice.org-calc but it is not going to be installed
 Depends: openoffice.org-impress but it is not going to be installed
 Depends: openoffice.org-draw but it is not going to be installed
 Depends: openoffice.org-math but it is not going to be installed
 Depends: openoffice.org-base but it is not going to be installed

this is the error I got in add /remove
Cannot install 'openoffice.org-calc'

This application conflicts with other installed software. To install 'openoffice.org-calc' the conflicting software must be removed first.

Switch to the 'synaptic' package manager to resolve this conflict.
