I already tried conecting the PC on the TpLink...even shuting down the TpLink... the odd is that when i haved a A8N SLI mobo and a A64 X2 this same modems worked perfectly fine. Since i got my core 2 duo and this new mobo it stoped working.

Open you browser (firefox possibly)
clear the Url/Address area at the top of the screen

then enter this address 198.175.96.33 all by itself with nothing else
hit enter

tell me if you get the Intel home page displayed

I dont think they allow pings to that address.

Does the other machine on the Lan have the 192.168.... as its DNS address resolver

do you know about wireshark the ethernet packet tracer

perhaps you could load wireshark and run it to see where things are going

I dont know much about your router is it possible it is set to only forward internet traffic from the windows box?

fixed :D, the problem was that the DSL 500G modem + Ubuntu using IPV6 simply dont work, on windows it uses IPV4, disabling ipv6 i works fine :D. Thanks for the help.

the modem was a 504T, my mistake, but the problem was the IPV6.
