Bug Description

Hi there,

Apologies for the bug spam (I've already entered this at KDE bugs, but it seems
to have fallen through the cracks). Details are here:

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106394

It seems a shame to provide gamin in Kubuntu when Konqueror/ KDE doesn't take
any advantage of it, and it's irritating to have to grab the KDE 3.4 deb source,
apply the patch and compile whenever there's an update :)

I've marked it as minor as either no one else has noticed it, or no one seems to
be worried about it. It's more of an inconvenience/ missing functionality than
anything else, but I *would* be very appreciative if someone could at least
confirm or deny the bug/ proposed fix, as I have been trying to chase this up
for quite a while now and have been met with a frustrating wall of silence at
every attempt! ;)

Cheers and keep up the good work!
Simon

I have the same problem here with both konqueror and kdesktop.

With Konqueror refresh or F5 works, with kdestop nothing except creating a new
empty folder works.

Just FYI,

This is still occurring in Kubuntu 5.10.

Hi there,

This bug is indeed still present in the latest Dapper packages. I've not tried my "patch" to see if it fixes it, though.

Cheers,
Simon

I am going to fix release this one as I do not see this issue anymore using 3.5.7. If you feel this is still an issue, I urge you to reopen this report. Sorry for the delay in communications. Thank you.
