Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Shortly after starting Firefox and viewing a website (http://www.baa.co.uk/heathrow) the browser closed, and an error message showed. A second error message informed me that "Rhythmbox Music Player" had also closed, despite me not having knowingly opened it. On resuming the previous session in Firefox, the browser closed again after about 1 minute, with the same error message (I'm sorry but I didn't note down the full error details)..

I was then asked to submit a bug report. I have not done this before (being quite new to Ubuntu) and expected to be given an opportunity to upload the report file. I have unfortunately not found such a facility, and therefore apologise if this report is useless without further details.

Hi,

please submit the crash report by (double) clicking on it (e.g. using gnome file manager). Otherwise, we won't be able to process it efficiently. The .crash files can be found in the /var/crash directory.

Thanks,
 - Alexander

I'm sorry but there doesn't appear to be anything in the var/crash folder. I expect I've done something wrong, but I'm not experienced enough with Ubuntu to know what! Perhaps it would be best to close this bug report and just hope the problem doesn't reoccur.

Thanks for your help anyway.

Robert
