Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin
If for some reason I lose my internet connection while connected, pidgin/gaim does not notify me. Furthermore, it continues to allow me to send messages as if I am still connected. I am forced to periodically "test" gaim by sending myself messages to see if I get them back. If pidgin/gaim does lose internet, and then gets it back, it still needs to be restarted before it works properly again.
