Bug Description

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

On Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon with Compiz enabled, firefox becomes unresponsive when loading flash videos. When they are small (adverts, for instance), firefox will become unresponsive for several seconds then return to full responsiveness. Loading longer videos (youtube etc.) cause firefox to become completely unresponsive.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This happens to me very often without compiz, especially when I'm watching a video on youtube. I have to force quit to get back on my video. I can confirm this on both Gutsy and Hardy.
