Bug Description
Binary package hint: evince
Distro: Ubuntu 7.10 i386
Kernel: default
Printer: Epson Stylus DX6000
While I open with Evince a pdf file, I can see all the fonts good, but when I say to print there are many fonts that aren't good, like letters changed with others and so on. Why?

Thanks for your bug submission. Document views correctly in acroread 8 and prints correctly under Gutsy. Document using evince 2.20.1 with poppler 0.6.2: views correctly on screen, but when in print preview, some letters are messed up. Instead of "viking" you get "viYing". It looks like the letter "k" gets substituted for "Y" throughout the document. What is shown in print preview then gets accurately printed on an HP Officejet7110. Definitely looks like an evince/poppler problem. Xpdf views the document and prints correctly.
Marking as confirmed.
Work around is to use xpdf or acroread
>sudo apt-get install xpdf acroread
