Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

On systems where the "capifs" file system is activated (for ISDN cards), gnome-system-monitor attempts to show the free space of this file system (which apparently is always 0, and it doesn't convey any useful information anyway). Instead, this file system should not be displayed at all, similar to the other "pseudo file systems" like /proc.

I suppose the file system is activated by loading the capifs kernel module.

This was seen on current Gutsy.

thank you for your bug report, could you look if that's still an issue in hardy or intrepid?

Looks like it's fixed in Hardy and Intrepid. I can only test it in Virtualbox (with modprobe capi; mount -t capifs capifs /dev/capi), but in Gutsy this command makes capifs appear in g-s-s while in Hardy and Intrepid capifs is not displayed in g-s-s then.
