Bug Description
Operating system: Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 alpha 2
Test enviironment: Virtualbox on latest XP Pro
Monitor: Viewsonic 19" CRT G90f+
Graphics card : ATI x1950
Error 1: blank "Screen and Graphics Preferences"

Error 2: Only available options are 800x600 or 640x480, but only 61Hz

Note: My XP Pro setup is 1152x864 @ 85Hz. I need Ubuntu to achieve the same before I can consider using Ubuntu.
What is the status of Xorg 7.3 and Bulletproof etc with the alpha builds?
