KDE4 - Screen Shadow during application display

Bug Description

While using applications in KDE4 a shadow will appear over the application. It will remain after the application is shutdown and until another application is started and displayed. This occurred in KDE4 RC1, RC2 and RC3. I have a screen shot, but do not see a way to attached to bug report.

I have been loading the KDE4 updates as they come out. I am currently not
seeing the problem anymore since the last update. I am curious though. About
KDE shows me running KDE Desktop 3.5.8 while I am running KDE4.

Would it be best for me to load KDE4 from scratch on my Kubuntu v7.10system?

I will close this report since you say that it does not occur since the latest update anymore. If it does occur again, please feel free to re-open it again by resetting the status to new and put the necessary information to the comment field.

Concerning your version question. I am not sure where this version is displayed? Maybe you could use the support tracker to get an answer. It makes more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs.
