Bug Description
If you delete a line item from a pending purchase order where there have already been copies created, the copies remain in the catalog. Unless the user is being really diligent about deleting copies before deleting line items, they have no idea that those copies are remaining in the catalog and are thus "orphaned" and never cleaned up.
If you use Item Status to search one of these barcodes and use "Find Originating Acquisition" you get the error: Event: 1858:ACQ_
Deleting a line item should delete the associated copies.

This is still the case in 3.6
Observed in the following:
1 - MARC records for order downloaded, creating PO
2 - PO was not activatable due to line item missing correct copy details
3 - line item determined to be an error/duplicate, line item deleted from pending PO
4 - Line item ACQ copies still in catalog
