Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

After some fixes in kvm part and in boot loader for hardy-livecd i able to run it on my system, bat there is still some issue making live hard:
the latest hardy-desktop-i386.iso ( from 09.01.2008 ) can't properly configure video driver and x-pointer.
any knoppix or helix livecd can handle so it is hardy issue.

to reproduce this environment you should take newest kvm kernel and kvm-userspace because it will not working with version gutsy provide.
kvm kernel:

It's probably still trying to preseed the input protocol.

I've just tried to install alpha3 on kvm myself, and it does indeed fail. The failsafeDexconf -issues are fixed now in git, but the real problem is why it ended up there. It tries to use the cirrus driver, but it fails to configure itself properly. I used the xorg.conf from failsafeDexconf as a base, and it seems to require the modeline, defaultdepth and modes to actually start up. It needs to be fixed in the driver, unless I've misunderstood.
