Bug Description

Binary package hint: glipper

When I installed Glipper, it installed just fine, but it doesn't have a symlink in /usr/bin. I tried running it from /usr/lib/glipper/glipper, but I get the following error message

SHARED_DATA_DIR: /usr/share/glipper
Binding shortcut <Ctrl><Alt>c to popup glipper
Running with options: {'standalone': False}

I'm also running the AMD64 version if it matters.

I have the same problem on hardy alpha 3 and I am running the i386 architecture.

(The gutsy version runs on hardy, however it gets always updated, even if I lock the version.)

If you are upgrading, you need to remove your ~/.glipper directory. After I did this, glipper ran fine. Glipper is now a gnome panel applet (hence no binary in /usr/bin). It doesn't have a separate launcher anymore, so you need to use "Add to panel" . Cheers.
