Bug Description

In Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon, after a while of usage, I am unable to type in a window (the window will not take any input from the keyboard, no shortcuts, no text, and it can be any application). Sometimes switching between desktops seems to cause this problem. Additionally Japanese input (SCIM) is installed on the machine which I suspect may be causing the problem.
