Partial Upgrade

Bug Description

Tried to run a partial Upgrade when notified I couldn't do a full one . Error message ensued and was asked to supply logs from /var/log/dist-upgrade.

This looks like a transitory problem that's to be expected in development versions. Please read http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=600644 for information on some good testing practices. Thanks for your willingness to help.
