configuration problems

Bug Description

I have Hardy-alpha-3 with all updates. My nvidia card is not configured by the configuration problem. Plus my mouse does not work correctly---it does not launch programs when you click it. I had to manually modify xorg.conf to get some functionality but it is still not correct. I am running this on a Macbook Pro (Santa Rosa).

I thought they were both related to the same problem.
