wxPython apps fail after xserver update

Bug Description

Following update to libxfont1 1:1.3.0-ubuntu1.1 and xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.1, applications using wxPython fail to start due to X11 fault: BadAlloc code 11, request 144 minor 5.
