Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

After updating the package xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) to the proposed version 2:2.1.1-0ubuntu9.1,
there are no more terminal screens visible at tty[1-6].
xserver with gdm still works fine.
I have a 845G.
I'll attach both (the working ubuntu9 and the not-working ubuntu9.1) Xorg log files.

Do you use a framebuffer console? Please attach your /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

hi!
I assume not using a framebuffer console since /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer lists nearly every fb module, esp. intelfb and i810fb.
Here comes my xorg.conf.
I've overwritten the Driver entry manually, because changing the driver from i810 by GUI wasn't possible.

Best regard, Daniel
