Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core

Update from Version 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8
to Version 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.1 of xserver-xorg-core broke my installation of Eclipse.

After update I've started to get a BadAlloc problem on Eclipse
Details: serial 446 error_code 11 request_code 149 minor_code 5

Trying to identify a problem - I've installed fresh version of Eclipse and that did not help.
It started to work fine again only when I rolled back this package to 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8

I can confirm this!!

After update no application with eclipse environment works. It will terminate the JVM. The typical error message is:

JVM terminated. Error Code = 1.

After downgrading to the old package everything is working fine, so it is definitely connected with the xserver-xorg-core update.

My environment ubuntu feisty with sun java 1.5.0.13

Greetings.

I can confirm this problem with 2:1.2.0-3ubuntu8.3 (Kubuntu 7.04) as well, but after rebooting my system, eclipse works fine again.

cheers
