Toshiba Satellite C55-A%105 laptop Keyboard and trackpad DO NOT WORK USB kybd and mouse DO WORK

Thank you for taking the time to read this..
The laptop keyboard and trackpad do not work, anytime... not during installation, or after installation.
I am currently using an USB mouse and USB keyboard, they both work. Have tried many solutions that I have found online but have not been successfull. It appears that they are not being loaded into the kernel at boot, hence not showing up when I do 'cat /proc/bus/input/devices'

The system does see them as I have found out when I did: 'journalctl -xb'
They show up as:
