Windows Key and Home Directory

Bug Description

Dear devolopers

If I add a combination with the Windows key to "System -> Settings -> Keybord Combination -> Home Directory" (e.g. Win + e) then the
combination doesn't work. It shows <Mod4>e, but doesn't open anything.
If I add another combination without Windows key it works well (e.g. "e").
If I add a combination with the Windows key to the execute dialog (e.g. Win + r) it works well, too.

Greets

I forgot:
I use Ubuntu Hoary Hedgehog 5.04 with Gnome and the keyboard settings about the win keys are "Super is mapped to the Win-keys (Default)". I tried already all the other settings but there's nothing that works.

I'm seeing the same problem here, with most recent breezy (except for X related
things; there I have one version _before_ 6-8-2.32).

I tried with the keyboard layouts American English and American English with
Dead keys and several options for mapping the left Windows key. The keyboard
combination dialog mentions "<mod4>h" but there's no reaction (also after
switching keyboard layouts).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this is a dupe of Ubuntu bug #12153,
which is tracked upstream (GNOME) at

Can you please try again with Ubuntu 6.06 LTS, and assess whether the problem persists?

Hi guys
I'm sorry that I didn't answer for such a long time. I've been to another country in holidays and didn't have any internet access...

Anyways, I reinstalled my system and I'm trying now again under Ubuntu 6.06 LTS.... It's still the same.
It works with the default setting in "keyboard" ("Super") and it doesn't work with all other settings in "keyboard".

Thanks...
Roman
