Bug Description

This is on a fresh install of Hardy alpha 3 x64 with all updates installed (there were a few errors during the install of some updates). When I try to drag and drop a link from one of the menus (Application, Places, system......) to the desktop it comes up with the error:

Error while copying to "/".
There was an error getting information about the destination.
The specified location is not supported

Confirmed on Hardy A1 with latest upgrades to date.

I'm seeing the same error when dragging a URL (from Firefox 3b2 address bar) to Nautilus home folder. Also when I attempt to drag URL to Desktop, I get message "drag and drop is only supported on local file systems".
