Bug Description

Firefox trunk, to become version 73.0 in February 2020, has bumped its C++ requirement to C++17 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1560664).

This requires a more recent version (>= 7) of libstdc++6 than what is currently available in xenial (5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.12).

Useful information that confirms that we definitely need gcc-7 backported to xenial: https://gcc.gnu.org/projects/cxx-status.html#cxx17.
