Ubuntu 19.10 after updating the "Other Software" tab in "Software & Updates" the "cache refresh" hangs

Bug Description

Running the command from a terminal window The following messages are logged when the hang occurs:

simon@Ubuntu-2600K:~$ sudo software-properties-gtk

I note similar issues reported for other functions however, these seem to have been resolved.

Ubuntu 19.10 (eoan) reached end-of-life on July 17, 2020.
