Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-bibtex

In hardy, python-bibtex is still 1.2.2, but 1.2.4 is available from pybliographer.org since 2007-04-24. That release contains the fix for an annoying bug affecting non-english entries. I'd be glad it the package could be updated.

yeah, actually, I didn't understood what I had to send and where. So I'm asking what to send and where when we update a package.

And here is the debdiff.

Can you please make an upstream changelog available?

Also 1.2.4-1ubuntu1 suggests that you were merging from Debian - can you provide a debdiff between 1.2.4-1 and 1.2.4-1ubuntu1? (http://wiki.ubuntu.com/PackagingGuide/Recipes/Debdiff)

The package has been done by debian. What should I do to push it to intrepid ?

As there don't seem to be any Ubuntu specific changes (just from a brief look), you can change this bug into a sync request from Debian. See here for info:

Thanks for your work on this.
