Bug Description

Binary package hint: libflashsupport

libfashsupport.so included in Ubuntu Hardy repositories doesn't support OSS. The version present in Adobe Labs site does:
http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Flash_Player:Additional_Interface_Support_for_Linux
I compiled it using these instructions:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=1716845&postcount=61
Sound works but flash is not very stable and causes frequent Firefox 2.0 (more frequent in 3.0) crashes.

libflashsupport.so is not purely for Pulseaudio.
It will be great if this package supported all library's functions too
in future.

I agree with Icarosaurus, those of us that need to use oss only drivers (like nvidia's drivers for soundstorm) need to have the uncrippled original flashsupport from adobe to get working sound in flash.
The way it is now, installing the flashsupport package will overwrite the fully functional libflashsupport.so with one that doesn't do anything but pulseaudio.
If you don't intend to provide the complete functionality in libflashsupport, what's the point?
OSS support is already in the code provided by adobe.
