Bug Description

I've install freeciv and freeciv-sdl on a up-to-date Hardy. The game didn't make a menu entry and doesn't run from the command line:

secret@celery:~/.loki/loki_update/tmp$ civ
2: Using Video Output: x11
0: Could not open font: /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSans.ttf
0: No usable default theme found, aborting!
secret@celery:~/.loki/loki_update/tmp$ ls /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSans.ttf
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSans.ttf

The font does exist as you can see and has normal perms.

I've found a mention of the same error on the forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=664718

freeciv-client-sdl 2.1.2-1
freeciv-server
freeciv-data
freeciv-sound-standard
